Junior Marketing Manager / Marketing Analyst (m/w/d)
The Junior Marketing Manager will support developing global product and market strategies achieving profitable sales and market growth while meeting target market requirements. You will be responsible for analyzing market dynamics in relevant technology segment and provide structured input to strategic development of the future portfolio. Understanding, evaluating, and structuring the market landscape - customers, competition, technology trends, macro-environment, will be key part of this job profile. Apart from generating 'outside-in' view on the market, the person will support in analysis of internal data to evaluate basic market performance of key products and innovations. Main Responsibilities Run routine market research to generate valuable input towards internal marketing and innovation organization Gather, structure and evaluate the data to generate 'outside-in' perspective of key market parameters for target technology areas Support product-line strategy development process by providing relevant data and information set Be an eye and ear on the global markets to capture key technology trends, legislations, competitor news etc. Support marketing excellence by providing structured analysis of internal sales and other financial data Development of new product initiatives and identifying of new business opportunities and generate business plan for project approval Support development of value propositions and price positioning Support quotations and preparation of commercial offers as well as product presentations Support business case preparation with pricing and differentiation strategy Participate, drive preparation and presentation at customer events (like tech days, innovation days) Provide process routines and rules (Acquisition; Strategic Pricing; Partnering Strategies; Portfolio Management; voice of customer etc.)
Degree in engineering / industrial engineering as base. Preference for additional business administration education, with focus on sales and marketing Minimum 2 years of experience in product management or strategic marketing Knowledge of BEV market and required technology footprint is preferred Knowledge about product life-cycle management (from ideation phase to End of Life) Experience in identification of customer needs and understanding of customer values Excellent communication skills, spoken and written and well as solid presentation skills Creativity, result driven and financial skills (business case, financial metrics) Very good English language skills, German and other languages is a plus
