Product Manager (m/w/d)
Develop global product and market strategies that lead to compelling differentiators at the right price level, drive profitable revenue and market growth, and meet global market demands. Develop the right strategies to understand and structure the market landscape (customers, competition, technology trends, macro environment, development of the industry environment) Drive the long-term penetration of the current portfolio product and at the same time prepare for successful investments in future products (product roadmap) Develop tactical plans for each geographic market to meet the needs of local customers, drive the penetration of available technologies, and secure the targeted market share Main Responsibilities Promote and consolidate product line market information (including competitive benchmarking) that leads to a structured identification of customer and market trends (regulations, disruptions) Definition and implementation of the product line strategy focused on clear differentiation (technology, costs, ease of maintenance...) Develop new product initiatives and identify new business opportunities and prepare a business plan for project approval Ensure the coordination of marketing and product development processes, participation in product innovation and development projects Elaboration of value propositions and price positioning Be an expert in specific product ranges, customers and competitors Shared responsibility for revenue and margin (together with key account teams) Collaboration on preparation of commercial offers as well as product presentations (support in the creation of business cases with pricing and differentiation strategy) Confidently drive the analysis and decision-making process to invest in appropriate organic and inorganic opportunities Increase product line outperformance in line with annual and long-term planning commitments Participate, drive the preparation and presentation of our differentiated product portfolio to our customers. Provision of process routines and rules (acquisition; Strategic pricing; partnership strategies; portfolio management; Voice of the customer, etc.)
Degree in engineering / industrial engineering as a basis. Preference for additional training in business administration with a focus on sales and marketing At least 5 years of experience in product management or strategic marketing Knowledge of product lifecycle management (from the ideation phase to the end of life) Experience in identifying customer needs and understanding customer value Very good communication skills, both written and spoken, as well as solid presentation skills Creativity, focus on results and financial literacy (business case, key financial figures) Very good knowledge of English, German and other languages are an advantage Traveling (~25%)
