Senior Research Analyst
As Senior Analyst you will work within our Data and Consumer Insights team and support the Central and Eastern European business with actionable recommendations based on analytics and insights. You will manage and use a wide range of data and market intelligence sources to ensure our consumers are put in the centre during the development of multi-touchpoint experiences.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills and be passionate about understanding consumers, media and the use of data to inform creative and business decisions.
What you'll be doing:
Acting as an internal consultant: driving business growth by providing expert recommendations based on consumer insight and data analysis to senior management, finance, business development, distribution, ad sales, programming and marketing functions.
Managing market intelligence tools, processing data on consumer behaviour, the entertainment and distribution industry and consolidating it into market intelligence overviews and compelling presentations.
Commissioning and managing multi-country consumer insight projects when required, e.g. brand tracking's, segmentations
Actively participating in the broader DCI community, supporting DCI EMEA initiatives and using these to generate value for the CEE business
Helping to transform the DCI CEE function into a more strategic, data-driven and pro-active team that can demonstrate a visible positive impact on the business
Strong analytical skills with a degree in a subject that requires data analysis and well versed in deriving insights from data
Experience in TV/digital data analysis, market intelligence, or primary research preferably at a TV/media, FMCG company or research agency with international scope
Good knowledge of the German and European media/entertainment and pay TV landscape
Experience in analytics/reporting software, e.g. TechEdge, Adobe Analytics, Looker
Very good MS office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
Strong business acumen, acting towards business KPIs
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Enthusiastic and intellectually curious
Fluent in German and English
A team player with ability to work independently
Fluency in additional Eastern language
Advanced analytics skills
