Marketing Manager (m/f)
The Marketing Manager (m/f) will develop strategies to enhance Munich International School’s (MIS) marketing programme and further consolidate the School’s position within the local, regional and international marketplace while driving relevant online and in-person traffic to the School. The Marketing Manager (m/f) will liaise and work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in order to manage, drive and evaluate marketing, content, advertising and public relations strategies. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and working closely and collaboratively with the wider Advancement Team, he/she will independently perform tasks of varied complexity and deploy successful marketing campaigns and will be responsible for their implementation from inception to completion, including the analysis of their impact. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the management of:
Overseeing the production of rich content that attracts qualified audiences to MIS’ owned and paid media.
Maintaining an editorial calendar aligned with school initiatives and activities and collaborate with school leadership, department heads, programme managers and the Advancement Team to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and current family customers.
Leading the strategy and set-up of all paid media campaigns, ensuring achievement of objectives and budget.
Measuring and optimising paid marketing tactics using analytics and reports to monitor success.
Public Relations (PR)
Establishing a sustainable, strategic approach to PR by connecting with influential media outlets and journalists to garner media attention and position MIS as a global leader in international education.
Collaborating with a range of stakeholders to ensure timely, effective positioning of MIS news and initiatives.
Managing MIS’ presence at promotional events, exhibitions and tradeshows both on and off campus.
Orchestrating event bookings, other planning and logistics; collaborate on effective collateral and promotional materials.
Researching and identifying new opportunities for promotion and sponsorship.
Tracking and Reporting
Creating and maintaining metrics reports on marketing activities, effectiveness, and organisational impact.
Analysing marketing and enrolment data to develop insights and make recommendations about areas for optimisation.
Keeping abreast of digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies.
Skills and competencies required:
The ideal candidate will:
Have a university degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, PR, or related area
Be experienced in managing multiple complex projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Have strong organisational and strategic skills
Be able to deliver projects on deadline and within budget
Have polished written, oral and interpersonal skills
Be experienced in project and stakeholder management
Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
Be fluent in German
